Day (Digital Awareness for Youth) is a project by Howweb Digital Experts. We help young people learn and grow in the digital world. Our goal is to teach the skills needed for today’s online opportunities and challenges.
Why is Digital Literacy More Important in Pakistan?
In Pakistan, digital literacy is especially important for several reasons:
- Closing the Gap
There is a big difference in access to technology between cities and rural areas. Teaching digital skills can help close this gap, giving everyone equal chances to learn and grow.
- Empowering Everyone
In Pakistan, not everyone has the same access to education and technology, especially women and people from less advantaged groups. Digital literacy can give these groups the tools they need to learn new things and find better job opportunities.
- Boosting the Economy
A digitally skilled workforce can help grow Pakistan's economy. Digital literacy can help people start their own businesses, work in tech jobs, and more. Engaging Youth: Pakistan has many young people. If they learn digital skills, they can bring new ideas and help the country develop.

There is a lot of false information online. Digital literacy helps people know how to find reliable information and avoid believing in fake news
