Policy

Overview:

DAY (Digital Awareness for Youth)  is committed to empowering youth through digital education and awareness. To achieve this, we collaborate with various organizations to host sessions, seminars, workshops, and other events. This policy outlines the guidelines and requirements for such collaborations.

Event Types:

Regular instructional meetings focusing on specific digital topics.

One-time, often larger-scale educational meetings led by experts.

Hands-on training sessions providing practical experience

Includes webinars, conferences, and community outreach programs.

Collaboration Guidelines

Event Expenses:

All expenses related to organizing and conducting the event, including venue, equipment, materials, and refreshments, are to be covered by the collaborating organization(s).

Travel and Accommodation:

Travel and accommodation expenses for DAY speakers, trainers, and staff (if required) are to be covered by the collaborating organization(s).

Daily Allowance (DA):

A daily allowance (DA) for DAY representatives, covering meals and other incidental expenses, is required and should be provided by the collaborating organization(s).

Fees:

DAY does not charge any fees for conducting sessions, seminars, workshops, or other events. Our aim is to make digital education accessible to all.

Technical Assistance (TA):

Technical assistance (TA) including setup of digital equipment, internet connectivity, and other technical support must be provided by the collaborating organization(s).

Coordination Meetings:

Regular coordination meetings will be held between DAY and the collaborating organization to ensure smooth planning and execution of the event.

Feedback and Evaluation:

Post-event, feedback will be collected from participants to assess the effectiveness of the event. This will help in improving future collaborations.

Event Planning and Execution:

Initial Proposal:

Collaborating organizations must submit a detailed event proposal to DAY, outlining the event's objectives, agenda, target audience, and logistics.

Agreement:

An official agreement outlining the roles and responsibilities of both parties will be drafted and signed. This includes confirmation of expenses covered, TA provision, and any other requirements.

Promotion:

Both DAY and the collaborating organization(s) will jointly promote the event through their respective channels to maximize reach and participation.
